Warehouse Supervisor

Job responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and shipping.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of employee engagement and performance.

• Implement safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance overall warehouse productivity.

• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor service levels to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Job requirements

• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English. Dutch is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience (2 years) in warehouse management or a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful operational leadership.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a secure working environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and willingness to work extended hours as required.
